REFLECTION
ACTIVITY 5.1 – REFLECTION
I use social media in a pretty balanced way, I think. It's definitely not my primary source of news or
information, but it plays a significant role in staying connected and informed.
I mostly use Instagram to keep up with friends and family, sharing photos and stories of my life, and seeing what they're up to.
I find it a quick and easy way to maintain those relationships, especially with people who live far away.
I also use Instagram to follow artists and creators whose work I admire, finding inspiration in their posts.
Twitter, on the other hand, is more for news and current events, though I'm very selective about who I follow to avoid the echo chamber effect.
I find it useful for getting quick updates and different perspectives on important topics, but I'm always mindful of verifying information from multiple sources.
I rarely post on Twitter myself, preferring to engage through comments and retweets. Pinterest is my go-to for project planning and inspiration.
I use it to save ideas for home decor, recipes, and DIY projects, creating visual mood boards to help me organize my thoughts and stay motivated.
I don't engage much with the community features there, focusing more on the visual aspect. Overall, I try to be mindful of my time spent on social media,
using it strategically to enrich my life, rather than letting it consume me. I regularly take breaks and prioritize real-life interactions over online ones.
